Reminder To Self: Go to bed prior to 2:30 a.m. when I plan to rise at 5:30 a.m.
61 photography crazed persons joined me in the wee hours to catch the sunrise.
Coffee (great amounts of coffee) helped me steady the tripod and focus on the horizon.
What do you think? A Jonathan Livingston Seagull wanna be?
Pure magic! This is what made my 6 a.m. start worthy.
10 Top Photographic Composition Rules - # 5 Viewpoint
When I was low to the sand taking the "Viewpoint" photograph, someone tripped and
landed in the water, smack in my frame. Lucky me, fun capture!
Conclusion: Get up at least once a year to absorb the wonders of the sun rising!

Great series! My favourite is the moon shot, but I love the bits and pieces of the person falling in the water!! I sure hope you have warmer temps than we do, if somebody had to stand around and drip at dawn...
We have frost most mornings, now.
These are all spectacular! I hate mornings, but this would be worth waking up for.
great series of photos and so worth getting up for...haha, lucky you to catch the tripping guy!

A fantastic series! The moon shot is pure bliss!
Really gorgeous shots, all of them. Yes, that is a wonderful viewpoint you shot the last ones from. I have to remember to try out different points of view when I'm out taking shots. It can make a big difference. Thanks!
Love it awesome shots. I like them all even the one where the person tripped and went into the puddle.

I've been reading Galen Rowell's books recently, and he calls the sunrise and sunset hours the magic hours. I love those times more than any other.
