January 22, 2011 is National Soup Swap Day. There is even an official website, complete with instructions on how to hold a soup swap any day with friends. If you have a twitter account, log on and type in #soupswap and look at what others are doing today.
My favourite soup recipe from Italian Meat Ball Soup Rapido ~ Epicurious . I love this recipe just how Epicurious tells me to do it. My girls though are not fans of the beans so sometimes I omit them and add some rice instead. Enjoy!

That looks like a great soup! And here's what we suggest as a compromise for missing the 5th National Soup Swap: do one when you can! We're not hosting one until February 10!
And then mark you calendar for the Sixth National Soup Swap: It's January 21, 2012! ;-)
